Children’s Groups at Hemel Vineyard

Our heart and vision for all of our children is that they would grow to become God connected people, who know Jesus for themselves, know that they are a vital part of His Kingdom and they get to ‘do the stuff’. God has a great plan for your family and your children. We want to help, equip and encourage you as parents and carers on your journey of knowing Jesus more as a family.

Sunday mornings

Under 2’s – In all our services you will find a rug with toys and a baby play mat for little ones who need a wriggle. If however, you feel that your child needs more space to run and play, on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Sundays you are welcome to bring them to the kids room and stay and play with them. You are welcome to feed babies in the service, and be where you feel comfortable.
Please ask if you need anything you can’t see. There is a baby changing unit in the disabled toilet.

Vineyard Kids (children up to 10)

At the moment, children up to 10 (including reception class) meet together to play and learn to know Jesus in a fun session. We have lots of age-appropriate toys, crafts, storytime, worship time, snacks (milk, water, bread sticks) and prayer time. Our leaders love to play and are all DBS-checked.

Youth 12 -18

Our Youth meet every 2nd Sunday of the month @ the Barringer’s House, email cathryn@hemelvineyard.org.uk for further details

Our Youth are encouraged to engage in the different elements of the morning. When we move into smaller groups, one of their Youth leaders will take them out and discuss the topic.

Signing In

Children up to 10 all meet together. The session starts with Both of our children’s groups using a secure electronic registration system, you will need to sign your children in, and a team member will help you if you are a visitor. If you’d like to sign your children up to our register before you come, you can create your own profile, and then your children’s from here.

Safeguarding is a priority here

If you would like to help us get to know your child and their needs better, or if you have any concerns, please speak to Cathryn Barringer (Vineyard Kids Leaders and Lead Recruiter) or Meg Cripps (Deputy Recruiter). You can see our Safeguarding Policy, and you can contact our trustees via the Meet the Team page if you would like to.

We are registered with thirtyone:eight, the Churches Child Protection and Advisory Service.
